HOW OUR SERVICES WORK

SERVICE AREA:  Crockett, Rodeo, Hercules, Pinole, El Sobrante, San Pablo (limited service area), Richmond (limited service area), Kensington, El Cerrito and Albany.  Please call for rates outside of these cities.

• Once you know you’ll need our services, contact us to set up a free in-home consultation with you and your pet.

• During the consultation we’ll get acquainted, review your pet’s personality, diet and exercise routine, etc.

• If you choose to use our services, we’ll complete all of the necessary paper work at this time.

• You’ll provide us with the key to your home (2 copies of key required; refer to the Keys section of the Policies page).

• The week prior to the scheduled start date, we’ll call you to confirm.

OUR SERVICES

In-Home Pet Care Visits

Headed out of town for that much deserved get away?  Is your demanding job demanding a little extra overtime from you?  Perhaps the boss is sending you off on a business trip?  Maybe the kids have a sports tournament that is taking you out of town for the weekend?   Whatever the reason, GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care can be there to care for your pet(s) when you can’t be there.

Standard in-home pet care visits will last a minimum of 30 minutes and include: 

• Fresh food and water (food to be provided by pet owner)

• Administer oral/topical medications, if necessary (injections or sub-q fluids for additional fee)

• Walk or play time

• Shower pet(s) with love and attention

• Litter box and/or pet yard waste clean up (plastic bags to be provided by pet owner)

• Rotate lights and blinds/curtains to maintain a lived in look on the property

• Bring in mail and newspapers

• Place garbage/recycling curbside on garbage day and return to appropriate location after pick-up

*Discounted rate for two or three visits applies only if all visits are on the same day.

Overnight Visits

Need to leave town, but Sassy can't bear to be alone at night?  The boss insists you go on a business trip, but Muffy just doesn't do well in boarding?  When you have to be away, GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care can come to your home and keep Sassy or Muffy company through the night.

Overnight visits will last approximately 12 hours (we don't mind if pets sleep with us) and will include:

• Fresh food and water (food to be provided by pet owner)

• Administer oral medications, if necessary (injections or sub-q fluids for additional fee)

• Shower pet(s) with love and attention

• Depending upon your pets specific likes and needs  - play time, yard exercise or a walk

• Litter box and/or pet yard waste clean up (plastic bags to be provided by pet owner)

• Rotate lights and blinds/curtains to maintain a lived in look on the property

• Bring in mail and newspapers

• Place garbage/recycling curbside on garbage day

 Dog Walking/In-Home Play Time Visits

Too busy to take Spot for a walk?  Working too much overtime lately and can’t seem to find the time to play that much needed (and much loved!) game of fetch with Fido?  Feeling under-the-weather and just can’t muster up the energy to romp around with Rufus?  GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care can leash up your precious pup and do the walking for you or we can toss that ball around the yard so your pooch can get the much needed daily exercise he needs and craves.

30 minutes of walking or play time not nearly enough for your furry friend?  No problem, we can customize a walking or play time routine to suit your dog’s individual needs. 

Standard dog walking or in-home play time visits will include:

• 30 minutes of actual walking or play time

• All dog walks will be on-leash* and in your own neighborhood

*For liability/insurance purposes and the safety of your pet(s), GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care enforces a strictly on-leash policy with respect to our dog walking services.

Potty Break

Is your precious new puppy still trying to get the hang of house training?  Perhaps your long-time best friend is entering their senior years and needs an extra opportunity to 'take care of business' nowadays.  Or maybe your furry friend has been having medical issues and just can't wait until you get home.  Whatever the reason, our 15 minute Potty Break may be just what you need to reduce the mess, stress and trips back and forth from work during the day.

Pet Taxi

Need to get your cat to the vet, but just can’t take the time off work to get her there?  Does your dog need to pay a visit to the trainer to brush up on his doggy manners?  Maybe your furry friend is simply in need of a visit to the groomers for a little sprucing up, but you don’t want to spend your weekend off driving them there and then waiting around until they are ready to be picked up again.  GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care is at your service - we can tote your perfectly precious cargo to wherever you need them to be.

*One hour minimum per trip, unless combined with other services.
